Social Studies: No homework. Today we began an activity where students will "visit" different locations in Egypt and explore artifacts of the region. We visited the Great Pyramid at Giza today!

This week we’ll ask, “Why are certain activities important to a family’s culture?” In the narrative nonfiction selection Dancing Kane, we’ll read about a boy and his family who get involved in Mexican folk dancing and become performers in a dance company.
